Description
Cellura Balm is a copper peptide balm built on grass-fed tallow and squalane, with GHK-Cu as the headline active. It is the last step of the night, pressed over everything else.
A copper peptide balm in a grass-fed tallow and squalane base. The last step of the night, pressed over everything else.
What is in it
- GHK-Cu copper peptide — a copper tripeptide: glycyl-histidyl-lysine carrying a copper ion. Studied for skin repair and firmness.
- Grass-fed beef tallow — mostly oleic, stearic and palmitic acids. An occlusive that slows water loss.
- Raw manuka honey — a humectant that pulls water into the outer layer of the skin.
- Methylene blue — a redox-active dye. An antioxidant at low concentration, and the reason the balm is blue.
- Vitamin E (tocopherol) — a lipid-phase antioxidant. It also keeps the oils in the base from going rancid.
- Squalane — hydrogenated squalene. An emollient that slows water loss without the weight of a heavier oil.
How to use
Two fingertips, warmed between the hands, pressed over the face as the final step at night — after Luminé, never before it. Fragrance-free.
Please note: methylene blue is a dye. Let it absorb fully before it meets a light-coloured pillowcase.
90 mL / 3.0 fl oz.

Best For
- Dry or dehydrated skin that loses water overnight

- Minimal routines that want one closing step instead of three
Frequently Asked Questions
Where does a copper peptide balm go in a routine?
Last. Cleanse, apply your water-based serum, let it absorb, then press the balm over the top. An occlusive balm applied first will block what comes after it.
Can I use it with vitamin C or strong acids?
Separate them in time rather than layering them wet-on-wet — use the acid or vitamin C step in the morning and the balm at night.
Why is it blue?
Methylene blue is a redox-active dye included at low concentration; the colour is a side effect of the ingredient, not an added pigment.
Will tallow clog pores?
It varies by person. Tallow is largely oleic, stearic and palmitic acid; very oily or congestion-prone skin may prefer to use it only on dry areas.
Is it fragranced?
No fragrance is added. Raw manuka honey and tallow both carry a faint natural smell of their own.
Where can I read about GHK-Cu itself?
General background on the tripeptide is available from public chemical references such as the PubChem GHK-Cu entry.
