What is in this skincare set for dark spots

Each product covers one step, and the actives are chosen so the three do not repeat the same job. Here is what you get and what each one contributes.

Product	Step	Size	Key actives	What it handles
ClearMark Bar	1 — Cleanse	100 g	Kojic acid, azelaic acid, salicylic acid, niacinamide, zinc PCA	Daily wash-off exposure to brightening and clarifying actives
Luminé Serum	2 — Brighten	30 mL	Niacinamide, alpha-arbutin, kojic acid, tranexamic acid	Leave-on treatment aimed at existing dark spots and uneven tone
Cellura Balm	3 — Moisturise	90 mL	GHK-Cu copper peptides, grass-fed tallow, squalane	Sealing step; barrier support after actives

How to use the three steps together

The order matters more than the frequency. A workable starting routine looks like this:

Morning: ClearMark Bar, then Luminé Serum on damp skin, then a thin layer of Cellura Balm. Follow with sunscreen — sun exposure is the single largest driver of pigment returning, so daily SPF does more for a skincare set for dark spots than any extra active you could add.
Evening: ClearMark Bar, Luminé Serum, Cellura Balm. If your skin feels tight, skip the bar and cleanse with water only.
First two weeks: use the serum once daily rather than twice while your skin adjusts, especially if you have not used kojic or azelaic acid before.

If you are unsure which active is doing what, our guide to arbutin vs kojic acid vs tranexamic acid breaks down how the brightening ingredients in this skincare set for dark spots differ. Patch test before the first full application. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm or along the jawline and wait 24 hours.

Who this skincare set for dark spots is best for

Post-acne marks and general unevenness — the combination of a wash-off and a leave-on step gives you two points of contact per day without stacking two leave-on treatments.
People who want fewer bottles. Three products cover cleanse, treat and moisturise with no overlap, which is easier to stay consistent with than a seven-step routine.
Fragrance-sensitive skin. Every product in the set is fragrance-free.
Anyone starting brightening actives for the first time, since the serum is the only leave-on active and can be dialled back independently.

Less suited to: anyone already using a prescription retinoid or hydroquinone without speaking to their prescriber first, and anyone whose skin reacts to salicylic acid. Pigmentation with an unclear cause — particularly patches that changed recently — is worth showing to a clinician before treating it at home.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the serum and the bar on the same day?

Yes. The bar is a wash-off product with a short contact time, so it does not compete with the serum. If your skin feels irritated, reduce the serum first — it is the leave-on step.

How long before I see a change?

Pigment turnover is slow, and a skincare set for dark spots is a months-not-weeks commitment. Give any brightening routine a full cycle of consistent use before judging it, and take a photo in the same light at the start so you have something to compare against. Results vary by person and by the type and depth of the pigmentation.

Do I still need sunscreen?

Yes, and it is not optional here. The American Academy of Dermatology’s guidance on how to fade dark spots puts daily sun protection ahead of every other step. Without daily SPF, new pigment forms roughly as fast as the routine addresses the old.

Can I buy the products in this skincare set for dark spots separately?

Yes — the ClearMark Bar, Luminé Serum and Cellura Balm are each sold individually. The set exists for people who want the full three-step routine in one order.

Is the balm essential to the set?

It is the step most people already own an alternative for. If you have a moisturiser you like, keep using it; the balm is included because a richer occlusive step pairs well with a routine built around acids.

Where this set fits alongside our other guides

A skincare set for dark spots works best when you know what you are treating. If your marks are left over from breakouts, start with fading dark spots after acne. If they are broader patches that darken in summer, how to fade melasma and sun spots covers why melasma behaves differently and why sun protection matters even more there.

Already using a brightening product without much to show for it? Why isn’t my brightening serum working covers the usual causes — inconsistent use, no sunscreen, and expecting a leave-on active to outrun daily sun exposure. And if you are weighing ingredients before committing to a skincare set for dark spots, niacinamide vs vitamin C explains why this routine leans on niacinamide rather than ascorbic acid.
