Frequently Asked Questions

Is this niacinamide brightening serum suitable for sensitive skin? Start with once-daily use and always patch test first. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and space out applications. Can I use it with vitamin C or retinol? Yes, but introduce new actives one at a time. If you’re new to actives, use Luminé at a different time of day than retinol, and always follow with sunscreen during the day. How long until I see results? Most people notice smoother, more even-looking texture within 2 to 4 weeks of consistent daily use. Visible tone improvements typically build over 6 to 8 weeks. Do I need to use sunscreen with this serum? Yes. Brightening actives like kojic acid and arbutin work best when paired with daily broad-spectrum sunscreen, which also protects your results. What size is the bottle and how long does it last? Each bottle is 30 mL / 1 fl oz. At 2 to 3 drops per use, once daily, a bottle typically lasts 6 to 8 weeks.

Caution

For external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children. Patch testing before initial use is recommended.

What Is In This Niacinamide Brightening Serum

Active	What it targets	Why it is included
Niacinamide (vitamin B3)	Uneven tone, visible pores, barrier support	The core of this niacinamide brightening serum; widely used for the look of dullness and blotchiness
Alpha-arbutin	Localised dark spots	A gentler, water-soluble brightening active suited to daily use
Kojic acid	Post-blemish marks	Works alongside arbutin rather than duplicating it
Tranexamic acid	Stubborn patchy discolouration	Chosen for marks that linger long after a breakout has healed
Fragrance	None added	Keeps the formula suitable for reactive skin

Best For

Skin that holds onto marks for weeks or months after a breakout
Anyone who wants one brightening step instead of three separate serums
Fragrance-sensitive skin, or skin that has reacted to stronger acids
Morning routines, since the texture disappears under sunscreen

Frequently Asked Questions

How long before I see a difference?
Tone changes from a niacinamide brightening serum are gradual. Most people look for visible change over roughly 6 to 8 weeks of consistent daily use, and older or deeper marks take longer.

Morning or night?
Either. Applied in the morning, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen — daily sun protection is what keeps new pigment from replacing what you are fading.

Can I use it with my acne treatment?
Niacinamide layers well with most routines. If you already use a strong exfoliating acid or a retinoid, alternate nights at first and build up.

What should I cleanse with?
Pair it with the Cellura ClearMark Bar so the cleansing step supports the same goal rather than stripping the skin.

Is niacinamide well documented?
Yes — background on the ingredient itself is available from public chemical references such as the PubChem niacinamide entry.
